Tell us your vehicle and whether you already have new tires or need help sourcing them.

What can we help with?

So the right tech handles your vehicle.

This is a labour service. We do not sell tires at retail, we replace the ones you bring or help you find where to buy a set.

What tire replacement covers

Old tires handled properly

Worn tires are removed and sent for recycling under Ontario's tire program, not left with you to deal with.

New set mounted and balanced

Your new tires go on, get balanced, and are torqued to spec before you drive off.

Eco fee, no surprise

Ontario's tire eco fee runs about $2-$5 per passenger tire and is shown as its own line, never buried.

$2-$5 Ontario eco fee per passenger tire, itemized on its own line
$20-$40 Per tire replaced, old tire removed and recycled
$80-$160 Full set of 4, swapped and disposed of properly
A service, not a sale

We replace tires, we do not sell them

Tire replacement at our shop is a labour service, not a retail transaction. If your tires are worn past their tread wear indicators, cracked from age, or the wrong size for a new set of wheels, we take the old ones off, prep the wheel, and install the tires you already have on hand. If you have not bought new tires yet, tell us your vehicle and what you drive it for, and we can point you toward the right size, load rating and season type before you go source a set. Once the new tires are here, the process is the same as any installation: mount, balance, torque to spec, and a check of TPMS sensors on vehicles that have them. Your old tires are not thrown in a bin out back. Ontario runs an industry-funded tire recycling program, and every passenger tire that comes off your vehicle here goes into that stream. We charge an eco fee of $2-$5 per tire to cover recycling, shown as its own line on your invoice, not folded into a vague total.

Our price ranges. The per-tire price matches installation because taking the old tire off the rim is part of every mount; recycling is billed separately as the eco fee.

Repair or replace

How to tell your tires are past saving

Not every worn tire announces itself the same way. The clearest sign is tread worn down to the built-in wear bars, the small raised strips molded into the grooves that become flush with the tread once you are out of usable depth. Sidewall cracking is a separate warning sign, and it shows up even on tires with tread left, since Ottawa’s swing between summer heat and deep winter cold speeds up the rubber aging that causes it. A tire that has been plugged more than once, or one with a tread depth noticeably different from the other three, is also a candidate for replacement rather than another repair, since mismatched tread can affect handling and traction. If a puncture sits in the sidewall or too close to the shoulder of the tread, that is a replacement call too, since a plug-patch cannot safely fix damage in that zone. If you are not sure which category your tires fall into, bring the vehicle in and we will give you a straight answer.

Tire replacement questions

Do you sell the replacement tires?

No. We are a service shop, not a tire retailer. You bring the new set, or tell us your vehicle and we can help point you toward the right size and type to buy elsewhere.

What happens to my old tires?

They go into Ontario's industry-run tire recycling program. Our eco fee of $2-$5 per passenger tire covers that.

Can you replace just one or two tires instead of a full set?

Yes, though we will flag if mixing tread depths or tire types on one axle could cause handling issues.

Is the eco fee mandatory?

Yes. We charge it on every passenger tire we recycle, $2-$5 per tire, and list it separately so you see exactly what it is.

How is this different from installation service?

Replacement adds recycling of the worn tires we take off, billed as the eco fee. Installation is mounting and balancing tires you bring, for example a seasonal set going onto its own rims. See our tire installation page for that service.

Ready to swap your tires?

Bring in your new set or ask us where to source one, and we will handle the rest.
